Sencha Quince

Quince is a fruit formerly called apple of cydon It's like the love child of an apple and a pear,(little known on this side of the Atlantic). It has a tangy taste, but this fruit must be cooked to be enjoyed, often in jams. Our original combination of selecting a sencha with slightly sweet notes is counterbalanced beutifully with the tangy flavor of quince and just  a hint of ginger. This tea has a very special flavor that will appeal to the adventurous who like to discover new flavors.
