Already known in the Ming dynasty, the Yong Xi Huo Qing comes from the village of Jiang Xian, in the foggy and humid region of Anhui, China. Picked in the spring, the leaves are rolled into small shiny and silky balls, of a beautiful deep green, with a unique fragrance.
It has a nice balance between sweet astringency and sweetness. It leaves a refreshing and regenerating aftertaste in the mouth.
